Este estudo…mostra que as crianças que trabalham ou vivem nas ruas de Ancara devem ser consideradas dois grupos distintos: crianças que vivem com a família e crianças que vivem na rua. Ambos os grupos trabalham na rua para contribuir para o rendimento familiar. Se a criança é vítima de abuso emocional ou físico e falta de amor na família, ela pode decidir viver na rua. As narrativas das próprias crianças mostram que as crianças que trabalham nas ruas não se definem como socialmente excluídas no que diz respeito ao acesso inadequado a provisões governamentais e não governamentais. Foi mencionado que os governos locais fornecem uma grande quantidade de ajuda alimentar e que a SHÇEK fornece ajuda monetária além disso. Essas ajudas, é claro, criam uma posição positiva entre os trabalhadores de rua e suas famílias.
