Cloth. Condizione: Very Good +. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. Diana Magnuson (illustratore). Second Printing. Rudolph Shines Again by Robert L. May was published by Follett Publishing Company in 1981. Not an ex-library copy, this 8 1/4" X 11", 48-page offering is in VG+/G condition. The book is practically like new, its only flaw being perhaps some very slight yellowing of text's pages. The dust jacket shows more wear, naturally, for having done its task of protecting this book so very well. There is, now, a clear protective wrap around the jacket which I didn't choose to remove. There are 2-3 beginnings of tears that will be easily taped by owner, some modest shelf wear at top and bottom edges of jacket's spine, and some smallish, spotty, light brown stains seen on lower half of back cover section. I must mention at the outset the beautiful, somehow lifelike Illustrations, in vivid colors, that frequent this delightful Christmas tale, all of them the extremely able work of Diana Magnuson. From front inside jacket flap, "In this sequel[to Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer], Rudolph loses the light in his nose when he feels sorry for himself. But, after he performs a selfless act of rescue, and also realizes he can be of value without his shiny nose, he regains that wonderful glow and again lights the way so Santa can deliver toys to good girls and boys. Girls and boys and parents, too, will delight in the further adventures of Rudolph." This is, indeed, the follow-up book(originally published in 1954) to the beloved, yuletide classic which first introduced Rudolph to children everywhere, for all time. This offering's original, 1954 title was Rudolph, the Red-nosed Reindeer, Shines Again, by the way, and this 1981 edition features, of course, a new jacket design and the previously-mentioned delightful drawings of Ms. Magnuson. Thank you!!.
