Born in Hungary in 1933, Batuz and his family were refugees during and after Worl War II until moving to Argentina in 1949. He had his first one-person show in Buenos Aires in 1963 and settled in the U.S. ten years later. This monograph was published in conjunction with an exhibition which originated at the Everson Museum of Art of Syracuse University (May 15 - June 4, 1981) and travelled to Nuremberg, Vienna and Indianapolis through September, 1982. 0847803864 Fine in dj.
