Decorative tan cloth binding with red floral border is worn, back side mottled; sewn binding tight and solid with backstrap loose from crash; inner front hinge loosened, inner rear hinge loose. Rough cut on fore edge and lower edge. Illustrated endpapers, by Chas. Stevens. Note on front endpaper by former owner. Pages except last 10 or so which have some mottling, and plates are quite clean and unmarked. Although binding is not in the best shape, the internals are in very good condition. 397 pages. 5.25 x 7.5 inchers. 1928, G. P. Putnam's Sons/The Knickerbocher Press, New York and London.
