The covers are slightly creased with minor staple holes to the top left corner of the front cover. viii & 221 pages, with a few black & white illustrations and diagrams. Very good. First edition. A nice association copy from the library of the Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation with the stamp on the front wrapper stating: "Return to Central File JUN26 1959 / Missile & Space Systems".Arthur C. Clarke predicts: "In the decade 1960-1970 I think we may expect the following with a very high degree of assurance.Automatic probes to the Moon, Mars, Venus. Establishment of meteorological and communication satellites, possibly manned, certainly visited by servicing teams. Manned flights around the Moon, without landing. Robot landings on Moon.
