Top corner missing from front wrap; minor silverfish damage. Journalist Ellie Rucker (1936-2013) was one of the best-known knowledge mavens in 1970s and 1980s Austin. Her Austin American-Statesman column contained answers to thousands of questions sent in by readers, some perennial, some so weird they were only asked once! Among the frequent requests she answered were demands for recipres from restaurants both current and long-vanished, many of which are incorporated into this volume.
