"Puebla was conceived to be seen from heaven. In this first volume (of the collection) we follow two central routes. This is the historic axis that was planned as symbolic center of its foundation. One side of the old road takes you to the capital of Nueva España (Mexico City) and the other side to the old port of Vera Cruz. Now called Avenue Reforma and Juan Palafox y Mendoza where the conjunction in its toponymy reflects the antithesis of its Juarista and clerical past. Therefore this is a path of temples and palaces, of the excessive diversity of the practice of power: ostentation and order." --P. ix.ENGLISH AND SPANISH TEXTS. LIMITED EDITION OF 1000.
