Soft cover. Condizione: As New. No Jacket. Photographs By Jeff Scheid (illustratore). First Edition. First edition stated. In 171 pages of B&W photos and text, Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist John L. Smith and R-J staff photographer Jeff Scheid cover the Year 2000 Las Vegas murder trial of former stripper Sandy Murphy and her lover, Rick Tabish, on charges of conspiring to kill Murphy's boyfriend, ne'er-do-well casino heir Lonnie "Ted" Binion, and steal his millions of dollars worth of buried silver. Murphy reported finding Binion dead on their living room floor, propped up in front of the television set. The defense argued the former junkie died of a drug overdose. The trial ended in convictions, though a second trial later cleared the two of murder charges, leaving the theft conviction standing. (Murphy pursued a civil suit for part of the Binion estate.) Book appears as new and unread. Signed by both author and photographer on half-title page -- signatures only. Reduced from $17. Signed by Author(s).
