No Jacket. 266 +258 pages, illustrated, Prize certificate on first free endpaper for Seymour Lodge Girls' School, Dundee dated 1906, bound in red half calf with marbled boards, spine with raised bands, gilt decoration and title label saying 'Waverley Novels', a very nice copy.

384 pp including glossary of words and phrases, b&w frontispiece, writing on front end-paper, inner hinge cracked at title page, board corners worn, else good copy in decorated, blue cloth boards. With nice Gippsland College, Sale prize label on front paste-down. 'The Waverley Novels' edition.
