The author was born in Hungary, raised in Pennsylvania, and caught on with the 101 Ranch Wild West shows in 1908 when they were in Pittsburgh. He was a hand on the shows and at the ranch and eventually learned to spin ropes from Mexican Joe in 1909 and in 1910 he was performing as a trick roper. This book covers his life on the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch Real Wild West, Great Far East, and at the 101 Ranch in Oklahoma. His career was interrupted by WWI but he came back and began the cowboy career and show career. A clean very presentable copy.
