Newspaper. Nine issues of the tabloid format newspaper, issued by the publishing company that had previously produced the People's World newspaper for the Communist Party. Issues present are vol. 1 nos. 1, 2, 4-6, 8, vol. 2 nos. 1, 2, 12. Subscription label on each cover, even toning throughout, shelf and edge wear, else in good condition. In this period after the split in the Party, the perspective of the paper at hand became democratic socialist, and it brought together individuals who had previously belonged to competing Trotskyist and Marxist-Leninist groups as well. Activists/authors involved include Pele de Lappe, Barry Sheppard, Max Elbaum, John Trinkl, Kendra Alexander, etc. most of whom were in the newly formed "Committees of Correspondence for Democratic Socialism".
