The gilt is still beautifully bright. Gilt top edge of text-block, slightly marked but unfaded. Head and tail of spine slightly creased. Corners sharp. Small patch of fading to the top of the front board near the spine, and also to the bottom of the spine, otherwise boards bright and clean. Foxing to the fore-edge of the page block, not affecting the interior pages. No internal inscriptions. No internal foxing. No tears. No creasing. Spine tight. Printed on heavy quality art paper. ***In a very good well-preserved original buff-coloured printed dustwrapper, priced at 15/- net on the spine. The dustwrapper is virtually complete, with closed tears and some small loss to the top and bottom of the spine. Slight darkening to the spine of the dustwrapper. With an ownership name in light pencil to the front panel of the dustwrapper.
