Trade Paperback. Condizione: Good. 93 pp. A classic work providing insight into the teaching and practice of singing, exploring Baroque music and its technical aspects. Written primarily for the teacher of singing, Tosi advocated several techniques that were printed in this work for the first time (see Wikipedia). Tosi was an Italian born singer and composer, working in Italy, England and in the service of the Austrian Emperor Joseph I during the late 1600s, early 1700s. GOOD+ condition. Small price sticker on the upper front cover. Minor fading and edgewear. Light browning to the paper. Very faint musty odor.
