Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. History of York and Lancaster Counties is, in essence, one big book containing older histories of each county. The History of York County from Its Erection to the Present Time was written by W. C. Carter and A. J. Glossbrenner and published originally in 1834 . . . while History of Lancaster County to Which is Prefixed a Brief Sketch of the Early History of Pennsylvania was written by L. Daniel Rupp in 1844., THIS copy (a larger book) is a reproduction "made possible through the sponsorship of the Historical Society of York County, York, Pennsylvania." The book IS an ex-library copy and is in very good condition . . . with some library markings . . . and in the Lancaster History part some underlining in pencil by a previous owner. The book is 5 3/4" by 8 1/2" by 2 1/4" and has close to 1000 pages total. York County's part seems to be split into two parts . . . the first 213 pages and then another section on the History of York at the end of the book. There are Indexes for each book and as well as Indexes of Names for each county. The book was published by UNIGRAPHIC INC. in 1978. Should you decide to buy the book you will not have to pay any more for shipping and handling than ABE charges . . . I have included any extra I'll have to pay to ship it in the price of the book. Thank you!
