Hardcover. Condizione: Good-. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original full leather binding with ornate gilt to spine. The leather shows scuffing and soiling along with scratches, edge and corner wear. Spine has chipping along top and bottom and exterior leather hinges show cracking. Internal binding of the text pages is good though exterior hinge cracks are showing through at interior boards, marbled end pages and front and rear are free of any bookplates or library markings. The second front end page does have small signature and date in the upper right corner. No other handwriting found. Pages are toned due to age and foxing is present throughout with some pages having quite a bit. A few the pages have small tears along the outside edge though nothing serious. Frontispiece still contains the tissue guard present and attached though the top edge of the tissue has creases and a small chip. The first section of the book containing the works of William Cowper contains 404 pages and the Poetical Works of James one contains 133 pages (total book 537 pp.).
