Signed presentation from Marshall on the front endpaper: "To K.O. Eddy, Ready for another airshow trip. Best wishes Chester Marshall 6/9/00." ("Former pilot") in pencil next to his signature, small flag postal stamp on page, & "See page 291" written at bottom of page. That page has a biography of Marshall. Chester Wade Marshall, who lived in Tennessee, served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII as a B-29 pilot. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his missions over Japan. He wrote many World War II books. Kermit O. Eddy, who also lived in Tennessee, served in the Navy during the Korean War and was an avid aviation fan. In-depth histories of the B-17, B-24 & B-29, including full technical data and great photographs.
