Ein Bundestagsabgeordneter der Grünen hatte Mitarbeiterinnen der Fraktion belästigt. Anfangs stand die Öffentlichkeit diesem Thema noch sehr zurückhaltend gegenüber. Sexuelle Belästigung wurde als seltenes, individuelles Fehlverhalten verstanden. Diese Auffassung war angesichts des Forschungsstands seit den 1980er Jahren nicht erklärlich, schließlich war bekannt, dass sexuelle Belästigung weit verbreitet ist und dass die persönlichen, gesundheitlichen und sozialen Folgen so schwerwiegend sind, dass auch rechtliche Maßnahmen unverzichtbar erscheinen. Als erste umfassende Regelung zum Schutz vor sexueller Belästigung am Arbeitsplatz trat im Juni 1994 das Beschäftigtenschutzgesetz (BeschSchG) in Kraft. Es gewährte Beschwerderechte sowie Schadensersatz- und Entschädigungsansprüche für die Betroffenen. Zur Umsetzung europäischer Richtlinien wurde das BeschSchG 2006 durch das umfassendere Allgemeine Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG) abgelöst. Das AGG verbietet jede Form der sexuellen Belästigung am Arbeitsplatz und verpflichtet den Arbeitgeber, vorzubeugen und einzugreifen, wenn es zu Übergriffen kommt.Diese Arbeit definiert zunächst den Begriff der sexuellen Belästigung und erläutert ihre Erscheinungsformen. In this study, the effects of irrigating date palms with saline water (2,24 g l-1) on soil physicochemical characteristics such as the electrical conductivity (ECe), the pH of the saturated soil paste (pHe), the concentrations of soluble cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+), the sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), the saturated soil hydraulic conductivity (Ks), and the volumetric water content of the soil (thv) were evaluated in a Tunisian Saharan cropland, the Dergine Oasis, during a 4-year period (2012-2015). The effects of three different irrigation treatments of date palms on soil properties were investigated: low treatment (90% of the net irrigation requirement (NIR) of date palms was applied); medium treatment (100% of NIR was applied), and high treatment (110% of NIR was applied). The results showed that the application of saline water for irrigation inevitably has a negative impact on the physicochemical properties of the soil. Irrigation with saline water was observed to have severe negative impacts on the soil characteristics, especially ECe, Na+, Ks, and thv. However, among the three irrigation treatments applied, statistical analysis (Duncan's multiple range test) indicated that the high treatment significantly (p < 0.05) minimized the degradation of soil characteristics by the saline water; this treatment decreased ECe, Na+, and SAR and increased the water content, thv, of the studied soil. 20 pp. Englisch.…

The participants of this study were 300 (150 male and 150 female) students, equally 100 students (50 males and 50 females) from three faculties of medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.The findings revealed that Telegram can bring technological and pedagogical advantages for EFL learners, and majority of students in UMSU prefer to use it for reading and writing components. According to learners' statements, it has also a significantly positive effect on the development of vocabulary learning in EFL context as a online E-learning tool. However, I argue that there is a great overlap between both approaches, describing similar phenomena, but giving them different notations. I aim at describing the importance, contact between different groups can have on making, changing or reinforcing the boundaries between them and furthermore, try to prove the existing, but underappreciated overlap between boundary-making approach and contact theory. To understand those processes, it is first of all significant to give a proper definition regarding the meaning of symbolic and social boundaries. I therefore refer to the commonly cited definition of Lamont and Molnár (2002), who describe symbolic boundaries as means to categorize objects or people into different groups and create memberships. They can, if there is a consensus about them, be transformed into social boundaries, making them a necessary condition of the latter. Contrary, social boundaries can be described as manifested differences, which limit social opportunities and lead to inequality in the access of material and nonmaterial resources for different individuals and groups. Boundaries can be drawn based on various characteristics and in different fields. A broad range of previous literature has discussed boundaries drawn based on racial, moral, cultural and socioeconomic factors, thus distinguishing between ethnic, moral cultural and class boundaries, whose existence could be proved in various countries. For instance, Sachweh (2013) utilized quantitative survey data and conducted qualitative interviews, to analyse the types of symbolic boundaries present in the German society. He found evidence for the existence of moral, socioeconomic and cultural boundaries drawn by different groups. The same is true for the study of Lamont (1992), comparing symbolic boundaries drawn by upper middle class men in France and the USA, demonstrating the varying importance across countries. According to the author we have to approach this year the best way possible. To convey his message, he talks about 20 times codes that are developed in the book. Time code 1 says that we are living the completion of a 58,185-year-long cycle of time- a world age that the ancient Maya calculated would end the winter of the solstice on December 21, 2012. We are living the end of time, not the end of the world as a lot people predicted, but the end of a world age. For example, the present world age began in 3114 B.C. and will end in A.D. 2012. Time code 2 states that our ancestors recorded their experience of the last end of time showing beyond a reasonable doubt that the close of one world age is the beginning of the next, and not the end of the world. Now, the question might be: what is the meaning of the end of world age Those who came before us knew the end of the time was coming, they knew because it always does. His idealism was not simply imposed on Kant's philosophy and thus using it as a shaky foundation for a foreign superstructure. Instead, Hegel had sensitively reacted to Kant's inherent contradictions and resentments and subsequently presented them coherently in his dialectics and made them usable for him - or one might even say, he 'sublated' it. In my examination of the negative dialectics, I have repeatedly come to a similar assessment towards Adorno. He too was able to react productively on the inconsistencies and gross misconceptions in Hegel's philosophy in his critical approach to Hegel, by which he measured and instructed his own dialectical philosophy on the Hegelian. He was always aware of the danger that the productive reception of Hegelian motifs and dialectical methods would lead to a dull epigonism if it did not consistently align itself with the original contents of his philosophy. In the present work, I would like to prove that Adorno's assessment of the relationship between Hegel and Kant also applies to his relationship to Hegel, i.e. that Adorno can and should be called - in a certain polemic way - a Hegel who came to himself. His negative dialectics convert Hegel's speculative philosophy into the modern philosophical discourse without being guilty of cherry picking. It does so by clearing Hegelian philosophy of its imperfections and enriching it with the political experience of the twentieth century. It is my goal to show with a genealogy of negative dialectics, its reference points to Hegel and to prove that Adorno's dialectic is a legitimate heir of Hegelian philosophy. In addition to Adorno's work Negative Dialectics, I will pay special attention to his Lectures on Negative Dialectics, because, as Adorno states himself, not only the 'methodical observation' and the 'fundamental considerations' of his negative dialectics are presented there, but also the development process of Negative Dialectics is considered. 20 pp. Englisch. …

Ikshvaku, finding Danda a great fool and the most useless, banished him to this region because he was highly anxious of his actions. Ikshvaku got a capital city built for him from where Danda ruled. But Danda continued to lead a voluptuous life.Danda's kulaguru (royal guru) was Shukracharya who lived in an ashram located in the jungle surrounding Dandaka kingdom. Once, when Shukracharya was away, Danda visited the ashram and molested Shukracharya's daughter Araja, then left the ashram leaving Araja in trauma. When Shukracharya returned, Araja told the entire incident to him. This made Shukracharya very angry and he cursed Danda: 'In 7 days, you and your kingdom, all your people and army, shall die. For a hundred yojanas around your city, all life will be consumed by a rain of dust and death shall rule this sinner's kingdom.' Things happened as per the curse. All life was extinguished. Danda perished.
