The study extensively used national household income, expenditure, and food consumption survey data of Bangladesh together with the weekly time series data on price of rice and wheat. Households having higher share of income on food consumption were found to be the worst affected by the price rise. To understand how international price rise is transmitted into domestic foodgrain market in Bangladesh, cointegration analysis and Error Correction Model were used. The result confirms the existence of long-term equilibrium relationship between international and domestic market price of rice while wheat price did not. Error Correction Model was used to see the short term dynamics as well as long term information of rice price. European route E75 is part of the International E-road network, which is a series of main roads in Europe. Samples of soil and aerial parts of plant material were sampled from both sides of lanes at a distance of about 8 km and at 10, 30, 50 and 400 m perpendicular to the direction of the route. In the soil samples it were determined pH in 1MKCl and content of total concentrations of the following heavy metals: Cr, Mn, Zn, Pb, Cu, Ni and Hg. The plant materials were analyzed for Cr, Mn, Zn, Pb, Cu, Ni and Hg. As predicted, parental heritage acculturation was significantly and positively correlated with children¿s beliefs in the benefits of smoking; children¿s age was also found to positive relate to children¿s beliefs in the benefits of smoking. These findings suggest that high heritage culture affiliation has a greater impact on children¿s views of smoking than time spent immersed in the mainstream culture.
