In this study, green tender jack fruits were harvested from 60 to 70 days after synthesis. The fruits were sliced and dipping into different solutions viz. control (T1), 0.5% salt solution (T2), 0.2% citric acid solution (T3), 1000 ppm potassium metabisulfite (KMS) (T4), 1000 ppm KMS + 0.5% salt (T5), 1000 ppm KMS + 0.2% citric acid (T6), 0.5% salt + 0.2% citric acid (T7) and 1000 ppm KMS+ 0.2% citric acid+ 0.5% salt (T8). Then the treated sliced was steam blanched at 85°C temperature for 8 min. The roasted beef spices were mixed and then dried at 50°C, 60°C and 70°C temperature owing to preparation RTC. Results revealed that RTC dried at 50°C, 60°C and 70°C temperature took 72 hrs., 48 hrs. and 36 hrs. respectively. Low KMS residue was observed with increasing blanching time and drying temperature. The aim of this study was to determine the characteristics of Anatolian bee venom by evaluating its chemical content and microbiological properties. Physical, chemical and microbiological analyses were performed on 25 bee venom samples from different areas of Anatolia, Turkey. Data obtained by 3-replicate studies were evaluated with normality and one-way and two-way ANOVA / Tukey tests. Chemical analyses of the bee venoms revealed average melittin, apamin, and phospholipase A2 contents of 40.57%, 2.12% and 13.67%, respectively. The results suggest that Anatolian bee venom has a high phospholipase A2 content compared to the previous literature. The results for apamin content were similar to those reported in other countries. Melittin content was within the range of standard values. Total aerobic mesophilic bacteria counts revealed no microbial development in 11 samples of bee venom. Staphylococcus aureus was not detected in any sample. Hantaviruses are divided into two groups based on their human pathogenicity: Old World hantaviruses causing hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and New World hantaviruses causing hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). HFRS is an acute disease characterised by vascular bleeding and kidney damage, and, in most cases, it is not lethal. Therefore, sensitive and specific molecular detection is essential for the timely diagnosis of hantavirus infections. Neuware -This book studies the investigation of strength properties of bituminous mixes with different types of aggregates, viz, granite, marble, and locally available stone. The granite and marble aggregates were used in partial replacement of locally available stone aggregates, and laboratory tests were conducted to know various parameters like strength, durability, moisture susceptibility, etc. Marshall test was conducted to evaluate the volumetric parameters, which indicated that the stability value of the mix. Mixes having granite as fine aggregates and fillers show higher stability value, making a stronger mix. When granite is used as fine aggregates, the stability value increased by 18.6 % compared to stone aggregates and 22.4 % compared to marble aggregates. Also, when granite is used as both fine aggregates and filler, the stability value increased by 35.3 % compared to stone aggregates and 38.4 % compared to marble aggregates. The compressive strength for mixes with granite aggregates was found to be maximum in comparision to marble and local aggregate mixes. However, an unsustainable way of fruit collecting leads to the loss of diversity at all levels. The main objective of this research was to assess the intra-population and inter-population genetic diversity of M. flexuosa in the Peruvian and Ecuadorian Amazon by SSR markers. The sampled populations were characterized by high values of genetic diversity and very low levels of inbreeding. They did not reflect the existence of any clear stratification, which can be explained by long-term human activity in the Amazon and its contribution to the higher genetic diversity of M. flexuosa. Also, the gene flow could be affected by rivers. This paper aimed at assessing the powerful influence that Kinyarwanda exerted over Kirundi without the reverse.
