A chi-square test revealed that the demographic variables are independent of the efficacy gap. A paired sample t- test was conducted and it has been concluded that the trainees did not find the program effective. The factor analysis indicates that the grouping of the variables into factors fairly matches with the Kirkpatrick¿s model of training evaluation with certain exceptions. A number of strengths and weaknesses are identified and analyzed: the distribution of the economic benefits and environmental burdens of tourism and participation issues in managing the biosphere reserve.
