So, assessment of patterns in VCT outcomes using classification and association techniques of data mining is important for proper intervention. Based on the result of this study, physical status, reason to test, marital status, history of STIs,age and sex of the VCT clients are the optimal classifiers of HIV test result. From the association rules, females are more exposed for HIV infection and there is high HIV prevalence in 25-29 years age groups. It is the most common neurological disorder in sub-Saharan Africa. It has been found that people in developing countries have low levels of access to quality healthcare and appropriate medication. Moreover, these people may seek several kinds of alternative treatments before using conventional medication. A cross sectional study was undertaken, aiming at exploring the perceptions and treatment seeking behaviour of people with epilepsy and their caregivers with regard to treatment of epilepsy by alternative and/or conventional methods. In this study 75 people were interviewed (39 people with epilepsy, and 36 caregivers) during Epilepsy clinics at Chainama Hills Hospital and University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, using a semi-structured questionnaire. Results of the study revealed that majority of the participants do seek alternative treatment for several years before resorting to conventional medication. B. cereus and B. subtilis can therefore be used effectively for routine screening for residues of PEN G and OTC in chicken kidney and liver tissues. The thesis starts with the data analysis of the PMSE observing its parameters like spectral width, doppler shift and amplitude. These parameters are built in a profile and plotted as a function of time and height. In addition, the widely accepted fact of the dependence of PMSE with turbulence is shown in the thesis which is made by showing the profiles of dissipation rate as a function of height and time. Focus is made on calculation of spectral width and its variations with height in different times.
