He was high master of St Paul's School, and Headmaster ofWinchester College, Rector of Lincoln College, Oxford and Vice Chancellor of Oxford University. He also wrote a seminal work on unemployment, "Men Withour Work" in 1938. The author of this biography John Dancy, was taught by Oakeshott at Winchester, and went on to the headmastership of Lancing and Marborough.Condition of book is FINE.
