He took a turn, or two, guiding for trophy hunters near Vanderhoof, British Columbia. He even tried buffalo skining for the government north of Fort McMurray. The attractive b/w drawings throughout are attributed to (Ted) Stone Productions of James River Bridge. Author has signed the half-title. Cond : Paper wrapper is blue with white lettering. Front cover drawing shows a mounted rider trailing a packhorse over which a dressed-out deer is draped. Lightly worn, lightly rubbed. no marks nor tears. Colours bright, binding tight.
