Libro Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: New. 1st Edition. Bound in quarter tan calfskin with gilt spine rules and titles plus 4 flies blind stamped on front & rear panels, plain cream cloth-covered boards; 8vo; 267pp; illustrated with b/w photos by Matthew Vinciguerra and drawings by Ernest Lussier; special matching slipcase contains 3 dry flies in sunken mounts tied by the Dettes; limited to 200 numbered copies (#162) signed by Leiser plus Walt, Winnie and Mary Dette. The story of the Catskill's famed fly-tying family- a most entertaining account where the Dettes share their fly tying techniques with the reader. The deluxe edition sold out soon after publication and copies often do not come to market. This copy still in the publisher's original shrink wrap. The photo of the limitation page was made from an unnumbered copy used for promotion. Also, the image of the slipcase with flies was made by scanning and is not sharp as the flies are reset and are two-dimensional. Otherwise, this copy remains as new.
