Corners sharp with just a light crease to the top corner of the back board. Head and tail of spine slightly creased. Edges of text-block clean. Internally fine with no inscriptions, clean with no marks or creases. Spine tight. ***In a near fine monochrome illustrated dustwrapper that has not been price-clipped, retaining the original publisher's price of £8.95 net. The dustwrapper is complete with no tears or chips, but there is a vertical crease to the front flap where it has been folded over. Other than that the dustwrapper is fine, with no chips or tears. No fading to the spine of the dustwrapper. At times it seems that the man is jealous of the blind man for being so close to his wife; at other times it seems that the husband is disgusted by the man's blindness.
