Libro Prima edizione Copia autografata
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Near Fine. 1st Edition. "FIRST PRINTING 1976" on its copyright page. Wryly inscribed by its author on its front end paper, apparently in response to a debate about whether the book is a collection or a novel: "For Frank, / It is too a novel -- sort of. / We will list and note the common backdrop, the continuing characters, the symmetrical construction, and the shrill protests of the author. Need I quote Yukio Mishima's definition of the novel? "[faux Japanese characters]" / Most of the best, Edward Bryant 8/76". This book is in very good condition, marred only by a bump on the top of its spine, and by a a trace of fading along the top edge of its covers. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and othewise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its spine. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in near fine condition: whole and unmarked, with a trace of toning to the top edges of the white flaps, and a tiny chip in the top of its spine, but otherwise bright and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description. Inscribed by Author(s).
