Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Included. 1st Edition. xviii, 368 pp; illus. Original cloth. Near Fine, in dust jacket. This copy does NOT have any library markings. First Edition, second issue with cancel title page. Garrison-Morton 1588.17. There are actually two issues of this book. The dust jacket is the same for both, with the subtitle "A Study of Scientific Ideas" printed on the front panel of the dust jacket. The first issue also has "A Study of Scientific Ideas" printed on the title page. But that is not what the author wanted. He wanted a different subtitle: "Scientific Ideas and Social Interaction." So the press produced a second issue, with a cancel title page that has the subtitle "Scientific Ideas and Social Interaction.".
