The book is tightly bound in blue cloth with the title stamped in black on the front cover and spine. Corners are still sharp with the slightest touch of wear. The top corners of page 180-220, approximately, appear to have been bent in at some time. Otherwise, pages are clean, smooth and unmarked. The dust jacket is in fair condition with many tears, chips and missing paper on the ends of the spine panel, light foxing on the outside of panels and more foxing inside. The original price, crossed out in pencil, is visible on the front flap -$2.50" Includes many drawings in black and white. 263 pages. Mildred Sidney Baldwin, a 1910 graduate of Smith College, who wrote for the Ladies Home Journal and the Boothbay Register, Maine, also published the book Marjorie of Monhegan.
