Libro Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. 1st Edition. A first edition without a dust jacket. Inside the front cover is the name of Dr. Lillian Vittenson, a noted Clinical Psychologist, in red ink. (See picture) The first few pages of Chapter 1 have a small round soiling which does not affect the print. (See picture) Slight shelfwear. Tight binding with slight sunning to the pages. Lashley (1890¿1958) was a psychologist and behaviorist remembered for his contributions to the study of learning and memory. This book was considered a masterpiece and is where he summarized years of his research on cerebral localization. In the book he renounces the existence of a precise local area in the brain that is responsible for holding memories. The study had a profound impact on the young field of physiological psychology, and on future research on the brain. Protected in a new archival dust jacket. Satisfaction guaranteed.
