Every page illustrated using colour in a very creative way with some pages pink, blue, grey and yellow. Boards spotted and slightly soiled, occasional light foxing otherwise a clean and sound copy.

8vo., Second Edition, with illustrated title and very numerous coloured illustrations by the author throughout; original yellow cloth upper board lettered in green, a very good, bright copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with one short closed tear at bottom edge of front panel and lightly browned on (predominantly white) rear panel. This is the first coloured edition, and the only version practically obtainable since the original edition (with monochrome illustrations) was almost entirely destroyed during the Blitz. A crisp copy of a scarce work in very good unclipped dustwrapper.
