The DJ has some age-toning along the edges, and a bit of creasing to the spine's head. One small chip to the front flap edge. The spine seems to be just slightly lighter.

This offering is a set of four older Language Arts books which would be great for the Middle School or High School Language Arts teacher when giving a presentation/lecture, Here are four books (3 hard cover and one paperback) that can help spice up a presentation. Two books an ex-library books in good condition and very good and the other two are books in very good + condition. Anguished English (an anthology of accidental assaults upon our language) was written by Richard Lederer and has illustrations by Bill Thompson. This book was published by Dell Publishing (it's the paperback) in 1989 - or so -and has about 178 pages, The Word Detective (Solving the Mysteries Behind Those Pesky Words and Phrases ) was written by Evan Morris. The book was published by Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill in 2000 - does happen to be a First Edition - and has 228 pages. American Lit Relit (a short history of American Literature for long-suffering students) was written by Rickard Armour and illustrated by Campbell Grant. It's the ex-library book in good condition. The book was published by McGraw-Hill Book Company in 1964 - is a stated First Edition and has 162 pages. Everyday Phrases (Their origins and meanings) was written by Neil Ewart. This book was published by Blandford Press in 1984 and has162 pages. All four books are excellent sources for finding great little tidbits of information to interject in presentations. Thank you!.
