Full-Leather. Condizione: Poor. lacks title page and other preliminaries, appears to be late 18th-early 19th century Canadian (?) edition, organized in two parts, the first part of 410 pp. contains the herbal illustrated by 52 hand colored full page plates of botanical specimens with an appendix with additional herbs and directions for making syrups, second part of 317 pp contains 7 full page plates in red showing various anatomies of the human body and indexes to the two parts. Bind is full calf heavily worn with spine badly chipped and title upside down, lacks title page and other preliminaries up to the first page of text, foxing and scattered stains to plates, chipping and tears to last several leaves of the index, several portions of text scribbled out in pencil which is erasable, otherwise still sound and usable.
