Libro Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight and clean and square. Boards clean, with softened corners, title gilt perfect. Spine ends lightly bumped. Text block clean, with off white edges. The fore-edge has a feint pink spot, and pink staining to the bottom 6mm, this is likely colour transfer from another copy as there is no evidence of damp to this copy. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels read, but is still nice and tight. Near fine condition. Price clipped jacket has creasing to the bottom of the front panel and crimping to the top edge. There is some minor chipping the head if spine. The rear yellow panel is very clean with a 15mm closed tear to the top edge.Jacket grades very good. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very sold example of this uncommon first edition first printing Wolfe collection, featuring and expanded version of the original novella, plus the stories '"A Story" by John V. Marsch' and 'V.R.T.' that further expand on the plot and themes of the title story. Whist the jacket is not perfect the clean yellow panels and bold colours ensure that in the archival fitted cover this scarce volume presents well on the shelf.
