Prima edizione
Hardcover first edition - First printing. A collection of seven humorous stories originally published in the Saturday Evening Post, featuring Mr. Colin Glencannon, a "canny old Scot," the Chief Engineer of the rusty S.S. Inchcliffe Castle, by this author who was also a fighter pilot in World War I, a war reporter and professional aviator and much more but who remains best known for the Glencannon stories. 240 pp. Very good in blue cloth with black lettering and illustration on the front cover, in a partial example of the rather scarce dustjacket - one in two pieces, front and back, but missing the spine covering. Original price of $2.00 still present. Overall edgewear to the dj, rubbing and wear to the folds.
