Aggiungi al carrelloJason Cockcroft (illustratore). With an author-signed Bloomsbury Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince bookplate to the title page; first Australian edition, published by Bloomsbury, printed by the Griffin Press. 2005. Bookplate signed with a black pen by JK Rowling; uncommonly seen in the Australian edition. A small number of official Bloomsbury Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince bookplates were affixed to Australian copies of the title. I have three further Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince bookplates, each with a letter of authenticity from The Harry Potter Specialist, and the colours and dimensions of those bookplates are indistinguishable from this bookplate; this is an entirely genuine JK Rowling-signed bookplate. The book is in near fine condition. Note the toning patterns on the text block differ considerably from the UK printing, which is usually more uniformly toned, while this copy has bands of toning in the text block. Pushed spine foot; lightly pushed corners of upper cover; light bumping to top corner of upper board; internally very clean; no dog-eared pages. Jacket is not price-clipped (the jacket has no price printed upon it). Jacket with a bit of wear and light creasing.

This signature is found in a first UK edition, first printing copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Because Rowling only conducted one signing event for this book for a limited and select number of people it has become extremely hard for collectors to acquire an authentically signed copy. During the mid-2000s J.K. Rowling conducted very few signing events for the fifth and sixth books in the series and therefore copies can only be found signed that were either sent out by Rowling's office, usually for charity events or signed at the midnight release event for the sixth book. This is a near fine copy in unread condition. It has sharp corners and an extremely tight and square binding, but contains some minor bumping and a crease to the spine base. The book has white and crisp page edges and there is no colour fading at all to the book or dust jacket. The dust jacket itself is in stunning condition without flaws. Internally the book is perfect, clean without any ownership inscriptions, no marks or dog eared pages, a beautiful copy housed in a blue quarter leather clamshell box with gold gilt lettering to the spine. The signature comes fully authenticated by Adam Houston 'The Harry Potter Specialist' the world's leading expert in authenticating Jo's signature. It comes with a full authentication package including a letter of authenticity and collector card. Signed by Author(s).

It is notoriously difficult for collectors to find signed copies of the American editions of books 4, 5 and 6. This particular book is a first printing and was signed at the event titled 'An evening with Harry, Carrie and Garp' which was also attended by authors Stephen King and John Irving in New York City in 2006. First and second printings of the book were signed in thick black marker and it was the first time Rowling had visited the United States and signed books since she made a brief visit in 2000. This was the only event at which J.K. Rowling signed copies of the US edition of Harry Potter and the Half blood Prince whereby a limited number of VIP 'family packages' were offered at $1000 each which included 4 premium orchestra seats and a set of 3 signed books- one from each of the authors. The book and dust jacket are in pristine condition with no fading at all, the pages are clean with no inscriptions or marks of any kind. The book is unread, the boards are square with sharp corners with no foxing to the text block at all. A beautiful example of a book and dust jacket in perfect condition. It comes housed in a green clamshell box made purposely for this book, with the title and author s name printed in gold leaf to the spine. The signature comes fully authenticated by Adam Houston theHarryPotterspecialist the world s leading expert in authenticating Jo s signature. Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Fine. 1st Edition. First American edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, signed by J.K. Rowling in thick black marker on the title page. Rowling held only one event in the United States after the release of the book. On August 1, 2006, she participated in a unique and exclusive event titled "An Evening with Harry, Carrie, and Garp" held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The event brought together J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, and John Irving, who each read excerpts from their works. J.K. Rowling read a passage involving Harry and Dumbledore using a Pensieve to witness Tom Riddle's acceptance into Hogwarts. The event was a benefit for two charitable organizations: The Haven Foundation and Doctors Without Borders. Signed books were sent out later to customers who purchased one of a limited number of Family Packages offered at $1,000.00 each. Buyers of this package would receive a signed book from each of the three authors. However, there was no guarantee that the signed books were first printings, and many collectors who expected to receive a first printing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince were disappointed to receive a second printing instead. As this was the only opportunity to obtain signed copies in the United States, it is notoriously difficult to find signed first printing copies like this one. The book and dust jacket are in fine condition. The book is undoubtedly unread and has been carefully stored for the last 19 years. Comes in a custom-made half-leather clamshell box. Included is a Letter of Authenticity (LoA) from Adam Houston of The Harry Potter Specialist, the world's sole expert on J.K. Rowling s signature, as well as an interesting collector's card. First editions of the deluxe edition of each book in Rowling's Harry Potter series. Octavo, 7 volumes, original decorative cloth as issued with gilt titles and pictorial onlay to the front panel, all edges gilt, ribbon bound in. Boldly signed by J.K. Rowling on the half-title page in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Additionally signed by the illustrator Thomas Taylor on the half-title page with three original drawings and again signed on the dedications page with a full page original drawing of Harry Potter and the Sorting Hat. At the time of the bookâs publication in 1996, illustrator Thomas Taylor had just graduated from art school and was working at Heffers Childrenâs Bookshop in Cambridge. At Heffers, Taylor educated himself on the childrenâs book market and its major publishers and decided to submit a portfolio of his illustrations to the offices of Bloomsbury Publishing, including several drawings of dragons and wizards. Taylor heard back from Bloomsburyâs editor, Barry Cunningham (who had recently decided to take a chance on publishing Harry Potter and the Philosopherâs Stone after it had been rejected by twelve other publishers) almost immediately. Cunningham phoned him at Heffers and asked if he could create a design for the cover of a relatively unknown authorâs first book about a schoolboy wizard. He sent Taylor an incomplete manuscript of the book and, after two days, Taylor had a final product: a watercolor painting of a young Harry Potter with his lightning-bolt scar standing next to the Hogwarts Express on Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. In fine condition. No dust jackets were issued for these volumes. Unique. Since the release of the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, on 26 June 1997, the books have found immense popularity, critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. The books have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide, making them the best-selling book series in history, and have been translated into seventy-three languages. The last four books consecutively set records as the fastest-selling books in history, with the final installment selling roughly eleven million copies in the United States within twenty-four hours of its release. The Harry Potter series has been recognized by a host of awards since the initial publication of Philosopher's Stone including four Whitaker Platinum Book Awards (all of which were awarded in 2001), three Nestlà Smarties Book Prizes (1997â"1999),[109] two Scottish Arts Council Book Awards (1999 and 2001), the inaugural Whitbread children's book of the year award (1999), the WHSmith book of the year (2006), among others. In 2000, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was nominated for a Hugo Award for Best Novel, and in 2001, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire won said award. Honors include a commendation for the Carnegie Medal (1997), a short listing for the Guardian Children's Award (1998), and numerous listings on the notable books, editors' Choices, and best books lists of the American Library Association, The New York Times, Chicago Public Library, and Publishers Weekly. Also the basis for the eight fantasy films, beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and culminating with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows â" Part 2 (2011). The series was mainly produced by David Heyman, and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson as the three leading characters: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.

Joanne (Kathleen) Rowling (1997 2007), a full set of all seven Harry Potter UK first edition books, published by Bloomsbury. All are signed by Rowling except the first volume which has a signed bookplate loosely laid in. The books are housed spectacularly in full leather solander boxes for perfect protection, and those in turn placed in a buckram box for easy transport or display on the shelf. No expense has been spared to create the perfect housing environment for the set whilst allowing a beautiful presentation. The set consists of: 1) Harry Potter and the Philosopher s Stone (1997), UK hardback first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Comes with a loose Bloomsbury bookplate signed by Rowling; all first edition points present the Wendy Cooling blurb on the front panel; the rear panel bears the typo with an o missing in Philosopher s and Hogwarts School of Wizardy and Witchcraft instead of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Page 53 lists wand twice as called for. No dust jacket as issued. One of only 500 copies printed of which the majority (300) went into public libraries. This is NOT an ex-library copy. It has been professionally restored (spine tips and boards' corners) by a leading conservationist in the UK and now presents in near fine condition with one closed tear to the first text page as shown. 2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (1998), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Signed by Rowling on the title page. In near fine condition as shown 3) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (1999), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. In near fine condition. 4) Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2000), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. This is the rarer Scottish variant printed by Omnia. Signed by Rowling on the title page. In very good condition with the page block edges showing ageing 5) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2003), UK first edition, first printing. Signed by the author on the title page. Scarce as a signed first edition since Rowling did not do any promotional tour for this title. In very good condition with some ageing/ yellowing to the page block as shown. 6) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2005), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Signed and inscribed by the author to Mel on the title page. Exceptionally scarce to find signed as there were no promotional events for this title. 7) Harry Potter the Deathly Hallows (2007), UK first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Signed and inscribed by Rowling on the title page to Lindsey . This copy was signed at the only midnight signing event in July 2007. One of only 1,700 copies signed at the event. A wonderful set of all UK hardback first editions, first prints of the seminal Harry Potter series. Presented beautifully with the solander boxes and treasure case. Ideal for a fan, or as in investment which has beaten inflation and the stock market by far over the past 25 years and counting. First and Fine. Signed by Author(s).
