Foxing throughout. Intruiging ownership names at the front - The name George Lyon written on both inside front cover and front endpaper (and again on page 12 of the plates section. He has also written "Petersburg" (presumably Virginia, but there are others). Nice inscription on the first printed page, "Presented to Lieut D. A. [Weiniger] from his friend Geo Lyons. Dec 1846." I can't quite make out the name of the recipient. I have not been able to find George Lyons, either, so this is a research project for the next owner.
