Title pages dated 1995. Copyright pages list the dates when each individual title was first published; "King Solomon's Mines" first published 1885 with this version having text from the 1905 edition, "She" first published in book form in 1887 with this version having text from the 1896 edition, "Alan Quatermain" first published 1887 with this version having text from the first edition. "King Solomon's Mines" has 247 pages with a 6 page commentary by David Eccles on illustrating Haggard's works. "Allan Quatermain" has 296 pages. "She" has 317 pages with a newspaper clipping showing a critique of the aforementioned title by Michael Dirda, taken from the Washington Post. This newspaper clipping is protected by a folded piece of paper stapled at the top and bottom and placed at the rear endpapers. It has not been stapled to the actual volume. Slipcase has some light rubbing and shelf wear mostly at its bottom area. The gold lettering and illustration of spears and shields on the front of the slipcase remain shiny and clean. The boards of all three volumes have been well protected by the slipcase. Gold lettering on front boards as well as spines is clean and tidy. Illustration by David Eccles on all 3 volumes of a man with a spear standing over a lion. More of the illustrators works can be found throughout each volume with each having an excellently drawn frontispiece. Bindings are strong and tight. Very Good condition.
