    Hardcover. Condizione: Good to Very Good. First Edition. 1846 - 1854, Elephant Folio, bound in full leather, large raised bands on spine, with leather spine label intact. Hnadwritten Ledger, 466pp, with the majority of the records and accounts for the sale of items to Doctors. Most entries containing invoice numbers and figures, but also includes entries for Funeral Services, the sale on account for a wash stand, dress table, lot of hay in upper floor of the low barn for $30.00, 6 yearlings for $42.00, 1 cook stove $12.00, 6 bbls of cider for $10.50, 1 yoke of oxen for $70.00, assisted in digging $1.00, for blacksmithing, cord wood, cordials, bottles, with a receipt laid-in reading "Adm. of the Estate of Chas. Green, dec'd - $1242.45 - exclusive of money received by D. L. Green, surviving partner for the sale of Real Estate belonging to the firm of D. L. & C. Green - to wit - Sold house lot in Ludlow Village [Massachusetts] to Montraville Green for $300.00". Opposite side of receipt reads "Aug. 9th, 1850 - bank paid A. Boynton Note signed by D. L. & C. Green - amt. due Nov. 22, 1850 $475.30". The ledger holds an account for Dr. Montraville Green dating 1846. Other ledger enties include a delivery to Plymouth, $ due for Pulpit in Universalist Church, also - under the Account of Dr. Charles Greens Estate there is mention of rent of tavern stand and farm, and Pay S. Warren his services in watching and taking care of decease and bringing corpse from Canada. There is a label inside the cover reading "Book purchased as a blank book from Thomas Groom & Company, Stationers, Chart and Nautical Booksellers. No. 82 State Street, Boston. Some pages trimmed, slight curve to upper corner of back cover, binding and hinges tight.
