Minimal toning and short tears to map folds, mellowed creases. Covers lightly soiled and rubbed. Full title: Map of Alaska, Northwest Territories and British Columbia showing all the recent Gold Discoveries, Proposed Transportation Lines from Seattle and Puget Sound. Compiled from the latest Official Sources 1897. Compiled and Drawn by R. H. Stretch Mining and Consulting Engineer. The second of at least four states of this publication as noted in OCLC. Dated 1897 and showing the Copper River Gold Fields with two inset maps: Klondike and Indian Creeks "copied from Ogilvie D. S.," and Skaguay [Skagway] to Ft. Selkirk with the Dalton, G. Bounds, and Indian Trails.For our photo we have not attempted to minimize the folds under glass. A crisp copy of one of the earliest maps to show the Copper River fields and routes to the Klondike.
