The condition is good for its age; some shelf wear on the corners and the back strip, and the front board has a stain as if a small piece of tape was once there and has been removed. The dark green lettering and artwork on the spine and covers is bright. The printing and illustrations are bright and clear. The pages are unmarked. The binding is tight. ASIN: B000MF9XUQ. Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. Ross Santee (illustratore). Mountain Pony (A Story of the Wyoming Rockies) was written by Henry V. Larom and illustrated by Ross Santee. This copy can not be a First Edition as it is a book in the Classic Horse Stories series. The book was published by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers perhaps in the1950's. (The book was copyrighted by Larom in 1946.) It is 5 3/4" by 8 3/8" and has 240 pages with a Table of Contents and some black-and-white illustrations. It is NOT an ex-library copy and both the book and the dust jacket are in very good condition . . . though I HAVE taped some tears to the dust jacket in order to give it more integrity. A previous owner's name is neatly written atop the front paste down end page. "This is a novel of rip-roaring action by a man who knows his locale and has an exciting story to tell." Thank you!.
