Navy blue cloth, stamped gilt lettering on cover and spine. Nice condition, no stains, marks, etc. Slight edge wear along top. BInding straight and solid. Previous owner's bookplate on free front end page. On front and end pages it appears there is some color transfer from cloth to paper though there is no evidence of water contact. Otherwise, pages are clean front to back. Jacket is beige with black & brown lettering on cover. Rear features photo of young Watts with commentary, titles and pricing of his other books. Some wrinkling, one rough spot on top-rear. Bottom edge of cover shows same evidence of color transfer from cloth. Jacket is enclosed in mylar sleeve for better presentation. A decent copy of first edition by one of the 20th century's leading thinkers.
