The whole framed with a gilt rule encompassing a delicate line engraving depicting 2 cats at rest. There is some very light creasing along the bottom edge, else near fine. Limited edition of 100 copies. Inscribed and signed in 1986 by the Armenian-American poet David Kherdian and the artist/designer Nonny Hogrogian in ink under the colophon at bottom.

Illustrated and designed by Caldecott Award-winner Nonny Hogrogian, with a line drawing of two sleeping cats. A dreamy poem about the anticipation of starting a new garden after moving to New Hamphire from the city, the text was written by poet David Kherdian, who was also Hogrogian's husband. Printed in black, orange, and olive green on charter oak paper. About fine, with only scattered foxing.
