First edition leather bound hardback. The book is bound in half calf with marbled boards, the binding is rubbed, the front hinge leather is cracked but the board is well re5tained by the cords. The endpapers have some foxing and an owner's inscriptio n. There is some light foxing in places in the text which is otherwise unmarked. xx + 631 + lxxx.
