Hardcover. Condizione: Good. 1st Edition. The cover has red cloth with black lettering and a vignette. 30 chapters; 4 plates with browntone photos on each side; glossary; maps on the endpapers. The spine strip and the top end of the back board are faded. The cloth is mottled with tiny faded spots along the front edge of the back board and has a 2 in. slight line of wrinkle. The back board has a lightly bumped corner. Some of the cloth has spots of light loss of sheen from readers' hand holds. The binder's glue has darkened the endpapers. The front endpaper is upside down and has a remnant of a book plate. The top margins of the plates have foxing. Scans e-mailed upon request.
