Libro Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Fine. First Edition. This is a beautiful book and a large one (905 pp) that probably has not been opened. Were it not for a hint of dust to the top edge this would be an as new book. Still this is a modern classic in the early history of the Southwest. This is one of those books that just looks good on a book shelf. Covers the interaction of Native Americans with the French and Spanish from Coronado though the end of the 18th century. An excellent bibliography, index, illustrations, and several maps. See Tate, no. 1784: "a solid account of Texas Indian relations with the Spanish and French colonial governments.".
