Single leaf printed to recto only measuring 27.5 x 17.5". A rare subdivision map of Laguna Bell, a real estate development southeast of Los Angeles, adjacent to the city of Bell, that opened in 1913. The "new city and subdivision" was created by the Laguna Land & Water Co, which purchased the historic Laguna Rancho from Mrs. Arcadia de Baker, thus removing a barrier to development on the eastern border of Los Angeles. The map touts the development's "graded and oiled streets--cement curbs and sidewalks and electricity", as well as "prices and terms so much cheaper than others are quoting" on land where "the soil is the very finest--will grow anything and everything." Columbia only in OCLC. In very good condition with folding creases.
