Hardcover (Quarter Leather). Condizione: Very Good Condition. Third Edition. Original quarter leather over pebbled cloth, wear at corners. Scattered mostly light foxing, top inch excised from the front blank, otherwise clean with 24 plates of chateaus of the region, 2 engraved half titles, 5 fold out tables at rear and a colored fold out map in very good condition with a few small tears at folds, a longer tear in the gutter, but no loss. Often called "The Bible of the Bordeaux". Simon, Bibliotheca Gastronomica 706a, Oberle 310 (1st ed.).
