The Muslim Creed: A Theological Study introduces the reader to the range of debates and discussions that have occurred in relation to the subject of creed and theology throughout Muslim history, including the opinions of various theologians who represent the unity as well as the diversity of Muslim theology. It also raises the subject of the future of Islamic theology and makes a genuine contribution to this debate.

Amjad M. Hussain is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Theology at Marmara University, Istanbul. He obtained a PhD in Islamic Studies in the United Kingdom and was Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies at University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
