Riassunto: Autobiography/memoir of a woman and her family that begins in Budapest in 1915 and includes stories of childhood in Hungary, adolescence in Paris, career as a young reporter and photojournalist in pre-war France, marriage and childbirth amidst the tumult of World War II while avoiding capture by the Nazis, flight to the USA, building a life and business in a new country with her family, and eventual retirement in California followed by the loss of her husband after 60 years of companionship.

L'autore: Born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1915, Betty lives today in Laguna Woods, CA. The details of her life are the subject of the book. She speaks four languages, has worked all of her adult life at such jobs as photojournalist, wartime government translator, reporter, and mother. Together with her husband, jewelry designer Robert Zentall, she developed a very successful jewelry manufacturing firm.
