Jules Hansink worked in UP's Dining Car and Hotel Department for over 40 years and this is his story. Wonderful descriptions of how meals were served, the different cars used, the china patterns and menus, the Brown Brothers Special, service during the Depression and World War II, and the adjustment to loss of passengers after the war. Illustrated throughout with black and white photos of the dining cars and the menus as well as detailed schematic drawings of the cars used between 1930-1971. 74 pages.
